Ladies, no matter how skinny, fat, tall, petite, big, WHATEVER you are - the pooch tends to be inevitable when it comes to the curvaceous woman body. So first of all, love it and own it! Do not hate it. It’s apart of you! Nothing wrong with a little extra love in the middle. If anyone knows about the damn pooch, it's MUAH! That little guy bugged the crap out of me... all my life. I gave it so much evil attention, like, "shift on down to my butt... or something!! Why are you being all... POOCHY?!?!" Check out this high rez, mega action shot of Cora in college during spring break. Oh yeah. Pointing RIGHT AT IT.

You want to know a funny story? While studying abroad in Australia, wearing a bikini was strictly second nature (first was being naked). I was so awkward and uncomfortable back then, so this pushed me to shift my perspective about my body, and accept the POOCH. I'll never forget when I asked my boyfriend at the time, "what's your favorite part of my body?" and he said, "Your stomach pooch!" *squeeze *squeeze. WHAT?! I couldn't f*cking believe it. The one thing I HATE you LOVE? That honestly was a pivotal point for me when it came to viewing myself the way I needed to. Why not love it?
Anyways, first tip! You need a higher cut to go over them hips! I am rocking the 90's low rise jean look, which was trendy (haha) but not the most flattering for the lovely stomach pooch. It's always a great idea to expose and highlight the waist! With the high waisted bikini, you can tighten up your front pooch to make you feel sucked in and confident! However, we don’t want you to feel overwhelmed by too much material, so make sure to notice the type of cut you want for your body.

I love this yellow floral bikini! It's great for a classic Marilyn Monroe look. But, if you only want coverage around the pooch, and nothing else, in order to make your legs look longer and your booty look more fabulous, you might want to try a different route. The trick with our neoprene bikini is that the band is thick (ish) but also the crotch piece is longer and higher, making it the perfect type of coverage to control the pooch, but let every other aspect of your bottom shine!

Either or, this thicker band, high-hipped style will eliminate your insecurities for the front stomach pooch. And remember, it’s not about you fitting into the bikini… no, no, NO. It’s about the bikini fitting your body RIGHT NOW. It’s always important to be mindful of your body and stay healthy, BUT you are carved a certain way, do not change it, LOVE IT. Be grateful.
Until next time ladies,
