I Have No Curves and I Love to Wear a Bikini!

When coming up with this next blog post, first of all, I knew I had to feature Maryann Concannon because she styles her beautiful body so perfectly! And yet, when figuring out what to call this post and how to describe what body type she is... no chart really gave me the right answer. Each body type, whether it be "Apple", "Pear", "Square", or whatnot, were all way too specific descriptions. I discovered, when it comes to identifying a women's body shape, there definitely needs to be a mix & match option, just like our swimwear store! We can't shop when bikinis are sold as a set and are labelled "Medium". Who on EARTH is actually a "Medium" on the top and bottom? After working at Bikini Hut for almost three years, I can tell you, it's very rare when someone is the same size on the top as on the bottom.

At first I thought, Maryann is an "Apple" shape. However, Apple implies overweight and round. Maryann is the strongest chick I know! She was a rower in college! Also, "Apple" shapes tend to have a larger chest, but Maryann is smaller on top, while also having broad shoulders and a wide frame (just like me! But I have a bust, and a more square, manly frame, ha!). We decided to describe her as "no curves", for strict description and relatable purposes. If I had my way, I would call her "The Hot Rower Bod"! Love that! She has broad shoulders for those perfect strokes and a wide frame to plow through the water so effortlessly. SO! How do we fit this awesome body shape of Maryann's?

First of all, this chick can ROCK a monokini! Having a smaller chest allows her to have so much fun with less supportive tops. Also, this monokini has a slightly higher cut hip, giving her length in the legs, while keeping that very flattering classic Malibu look. My girls with a wider frame, careful with too much coverage and low hip sitting bottoms. We don't want you too feel weighed down!

In addition, I absolutely love a classic string bikini on my strong athletic babes. This bottom cut is perfect on Maryann! Slightly cheeky to give her bum a great shape. I love triangle tops on all chest sizes as well. Solid bikini choices Maryann! Shopping with this girl is the best. All of her swimmies fit her beautiful nomadic soul.

Do what brings you the most joy. If surrounding yourself in deep blue Jamaican waters or feeling inspired among the sandy landscapes of Zanzibar, just do it. No excuses, live your dream life. I mean, look at Maryann! If she can do it, so can you.
